Finance & coordination social project

Hi, I'm Thorben, I'm 26 years old and I'm about to study International Economics and Management in Paderborn. At the beginning of 2022 I was in Tanzania for two months and was able to experience the people, culture and nature up close.

On the one hand, I was able to get an impression of the situation in rural areas for myself. I attended the Bright English Medium School in Loliondo, which has set itself the task of providing the Maasai children, who mostly live in poverty, with a good education. On the other hand, I had the chance to get to know many artists and their stories in Mwenge, Dar Es Salaam and to capture many impressions of their everyday life on site.

At UFUNDI I take care of finances. I am also responsible for communication with the social education project in Loliondo. I have a great passion for photography and videography. I produced all our content from Tanzania myself.

With UFUNDI, I not only want to take the first step towards independence, but also create sustainable added value in a wide variety of cultures and countries.
