Issa Kupenya is 30 years young, grew up in Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania) and still lives there with his wife and their 5-year-old daughter. As was customary in his family, Issa began working as a tailor in his youth to support his family. Despite the uncertainty about his future income, he decided to pursue his passion for painting. One of the best decisions of his life, because today he inspires with his art. Now he should get the platform he deserves with his pictures. His message to all of us: “Work with passion. Keep going. Don't lose hope. Do not waste your time. If you do what you love for work, then you will eventually be successful.”
