Hi everyone! I'm Felix, I'm 25 years old and I'm studying International Economics and Management for a master's degree in Paderborn. I was in Tanzania for three months for a social project in 2019 and again for two months in 2022 to build up our artist network. During this time I learned to love the country and especially its hospitable people.

The idea for UFUNDI came about when I bought some hand-painted pictures in Tanzania as a souvenir in 2019. I was so fascinated by the talent of the street artists and the colorful motifs that I walked through their shops for hours and looked around. The artists in Tanzania mostly live from day to day and sometimes do not have enough income to support themselves and their families. In my opinion, they deserve a much wider reach and that's what we want to change with UFUNDI. I'm very happy that I was able to inspire Thorben and Lindsey with my idea and I'm looking forward to our future together.

At UFUNDI I am responsible for networking, organizational matters and communication with the artists. In particular, I really enjoy the direct contact and exchange with the artists.
